We had fun, I trust the park there, its a safe place for kids to have fun. Parents don't have to worry as much, not that crowded and its family oriented. I have been coming to the state park since a child, I bring my kids there. I love it, wish the pool would come back..

Croft is a nice basic state park campground. If you are travelling with kids, there is a playground, but no pool or swimming area. The main attraction here seemed to be for horse owners, as there are stables, a ring, and riding trails. Unfortunately the do not rent out horses or do guided trail rides so you are out of luck unless you bring your own horse. The bath house was fairly clean overall but there was hair in the shower that stayed on the tile wall the 3 days we were there so I guess they don't clean daily. We had a pull through camping site for our RV with power and water hookups. Sites are dirt/gravel and some are not very level. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice close quiet place to walk. Many trails to take. Nice place by the river or lake to see. Love walking in the woods here.

Nice lake! Caught a few good bream and a bass. I would say this lake is best for trolling to catch fish in. Clean area and a place to picnic.
