Bake Oven Knob Parking

From Bake Oven Knob Road, hike north on the A.T. and reach the summit of Bake Over Knob (elevation 1,560) at mile 0.4. There are a couple of vantage points. The first offers a view to the north, the second to the south. Retrace your steps to return to the A.T.

The most helpful information would be to take Bake Oven Road from the South to Parking Area. The dirt road is very well maintained and resembles national park quality. Bake Oven Rd from the North is a very steep rocky road and 4-wheel drive vehicles could find it difficult! Especially in poor weather conditions. Keep it clean and safe!

Beautiful views from the Bake Oven Knob and surrounding area. Be advised that the trails are pretty rocky and intermediate . Walking sticks work wonders there, makes things much safer and easier.

There is a small parking lot with entrance to hiking trail. No facilities. The trail is challenging with lots of scrambles over big rocks but worth it with beautiful views over the valley!!

Easy hike from the parking lot to the actual knob. Just sucks the whole area is covered in graffiti.

AMAZING VIEWS SUNSET WAS ONE OF THE BEST IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE THE DRIVE UP THE MOUNTAIN WAS A LITTLE ROUGH DEFINITELY NOT RECOMENDED IN THE RAIN AND OR SNOW. THERE ARE NOT BARRIERS ON THE DRIVE UP THE MOUNTAIN THE TRAIL IS PRETTY MUCH A CLEAR PATH EASH ACCESS ONLY ONE POINT OF INCLINE. I WAS ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH WHEN SNOW WAS STILL ON. THE ROCKS WITH SNEAKERS. EVERY THING WAS WORTH IT 100% CAN SCRATCH THIS OF MY BUCKET LIST AND MIGHT RETURN
