Avon Lake's Park

Avon Lake's Park
33401 Webber Road

This is the largest community park in Avon Lake with approximately 79 acres. Weiss Field offers a variety of recreational activities for the community that are free and open to the public. This park is also the location for our annual firework display around the Fourth of July.

The park recently underwent a $1 million dollar renovation funded by the City of Avon Lake and the Avon Lake Youth Baseball Federation. The fields have improved drainage, new dugout areas, new fencing, and an improved parking area.  We will soon add bleacher shades to protect spectators from the sun and other weather conditions.

Dog Park:
Weiss Field also houses Avon Lake's Park 4 Paws dog park.  A large, fenced-in area, dogs are free to run around without a leash (but with tags!) in the park.  Owners are legally responsible for dogs in case of injury and are expected to dispose properly of all waste.

Park Ammenities:
Two reservable picnic pavilions
Bike and skate park
Basketball court
Playground equipment
Horse arena
Bridle/walking trails
Eleven baseball and softball fields
